My passion for photography began when I returned to college in 2012. My obsession with photography began the moment I stepped a foot into the darkroom, it quickly grew further as I learned how to develop the film I shot for classroom assignments.
This love continued to grow and expanded as each semester progressed, from film I advanced to digital photography, and then on to the study of Studio and Location Lighting.
Initially enrolling in the class Intro to Black and White Photography at Elgin Community College was to satisfy the Arts requirement for my Associates Degree. It was then that my deep love for photography was founded!
As this love grew I expanded my formal education of photography; I enrolled in Digital Photo Manipulation, followed by Digital Photography, and lastly taking Studio and Location Lighting.
To this day I am dedicated to continuing to expand my knowledge of photography through maintaining membership in local photography organizations; participating in numerous online photography groups, and attending independent workshops.

Unfortunately Covid-19 has caused cancellations of large gatherings for 2020 therefore much of the photography group education has been postponed til 2021
I have found that I am more comfortable behind a camera lens capturing, and creating stunning memories to be cherish for a lifetime.
Creating beautiful memories to be enjoyed for years to come is what I enjoy most and what I love doing the best!
I am married; to my husband Thomas since July 1, 1979. I have to emphasize the fact Tom has always been the number one person supporting and encouraging me to continue in this creative endeavor.
December 2016 ended with the development of health challenges which resulted in my having to put my photography on hold for nearly three years. I am looking forward to 2021 being a much healthier year allowing more time to pursue my passion for photography full time.
Additionally I am mother to three grown adult children; grandmother to four fabulous grandson's, and three precious granddaughter's.
We went from zero grandchildren to seven in a blink of an eye; the first arriving December 15, 2014, holding at seven as of August 24, 2017!
Each of these precious additions to our family have brought with them countless moments of life's most joyous blessings!
